PM Toolbelt Security

We know your information is important and that is why we strive to always use the latest in cybersecurity techniques, implementing multiple layers of security.

Our web application uses HTTPS protocol to provide encrypted communication with and secure identification of a Web server. Helping prevent intruders from tampering with the communications between PMT and your users’ browsers.

Data Center

PM Toolbelts infrastructure is hosted by Amazon's Web Service (AWS). AWS S3 supports security standards and compliance certifications including PCI-DSS, HIPAA/HITECH, FedRAMP, SEC Rule 17-a-4, EU Data Protection Directive, and FISMA, helping satisfy compliance requirements for virtually every regulatory agency around the globe.

AWS provides several security capabilities and services to increase privacy and control network access. These include:

  • Network firewalls built into Amazon VPC.
  • Encryption in transit with TLS across all services
  • Connectivity options that enable private, or dedicated, connections from your office or on-premises environment

Our database is only accessible by the PMT app and from certain locations defined by our development team. Our developers can’t even access your data while they are working from home.

Of course, the most common way attackers gain access to data is by attempting to guess a user’s password or by tricking users into giving it to them. Passwords are encrypted beyond web standards so as long as you create a strong password and be careful about who you share your password with your data is safe behind closed doors.
